History

TERRA AVIA started its activity in 2005 and concluded the initial certification process in April 2005, obtaining its Air Operator Certificate, issued by Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Moldova. 
2005-2014 – The fleet of the company was two airplanes Ilyushin IL-18D. We operated domestic and international charter passengers and cargo flights in Africa and Middle East. 
   
2015 – TERRA AVIA’s fleet was increased by six aircrafts Ilyushin IL-76TD to provide cargo flights. Contract on providing aviation services in Bangladesh and Juba in support to the UN humanitarian mission. Operations of cargo flights in Asia, Middle East, Africa and South America.
 
2015-2016 – The company's goal is to provide high-quality air transportation and the most comfortable conditions for passengers. So, TERRA AVIA increases its fleet by two aircrafts Airbus A-320-231. 
Wet Lease Contracts with national air carriers on providing passengers charter flights from Chisinau International Airport to Europe; and with air carriers in the Middle East to operate domestic and international flights. 
 
2016 August – Terra Avia Air Company founded its subsidiary Maintenance Organization JAR-145 “SKY TECHNICS” with Line Station at Chisinau International Airport (Republic of Moldova) and at Sharjah International Airport (United Arab Emirates).  This Organization is certified by Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Moldova to perform maintenance works on Airbus A-320 Family aircrafts.
 
2017- till present - Air Company TERRA AVIA operates two aircraft type BOEING 747-400 which give the possibility to perform flights worldwide.
 
2019 - TERRA AVIA is the first company from the Republic of Moldova that received Aircraft Operator Certificate in accordance with Regulation (EU) 965/2012 on air operations.
 
2021 - TERRA AVIA operated passenger flights on Airbus A320-232.
During the year the company has reorganization of the company, by adding new type of aircraft Boeing 737-300F to provide cargo transport services.
 
At the present the Maintenance Organization JAR-145 “SKY TECHNICS” is in process to be approved by EASA to perform maintenance on aircrafts Airbus A-320 Family registered in EU.
